Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A.M. FOOD SERVICES LTD.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. The successful candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
