Job Title: Senior Pastry Specialist

At THE GOOD TIME BAKERY, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pastry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional baking skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare high-quality pastry products, including bread, rolls, and desserts.
* Train and supervise staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
* Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
* Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
* Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
* Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Excellent baking skills and knowledge of pastry production.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to train and supervise staff.

Work Environment:

* The role will be based in our bakery, where you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced bakers and kitchen staff.
* You will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastry products and supervising staff in the production process.
* The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Language:

* The primary language spoken in the bakery is English.

Work Hours:

* The role is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.

Education:

* No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Transportation:

* Public transportation is available.

Work Setting:

* The role will be based in our bakery, which is a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced bakers and kitchen staff.

Physical Capabilities:

* The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Supervision:

* The role will be supervised by the Head Baker.

Food Specialties:

* The role involves the preparation of high-quality pastry products, including bread, rolls, and desserts.

Personal Suitability:

* The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Experience:
