Job Title: Executive Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Specialist to join our team at THE GOOD TIME BAKERY. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative pastry and dessert menus that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new pastry and dessert recipes that showcase our bakery's unique flavor profiles and presentation styles.
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs and bakers in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts and pastries.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create seasonal menus and specials that drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Ensure that all pastry and dessert products meet our high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and bakers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pastry or dessert role, preferably in a high-volume bakery or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert techniques, including baking, decorating, and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts or related field preferred.
