Job Summary

We are seeking an Automotive Service Associate to join our team at AWIN Mercedes-Benz Downtown. The successful candidate will assist in the service department, maintaining a clean and organized workspace while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize vehicles in the service parking lot, ensuring efficient workflow and maximum space utilization.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice, promoting accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Safely transport clients to and from destinations using our dealership's shuttle, demonstrating a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery and pick up/wash vehicles, showcasing a keen eye for detail and a dedication to quality.
  • Catalogue and store keys securely, preventing loss or misplacement.
  • Perform daily inspections of the lot, identifying and addressing any security concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Remove garbage from the shop as required, demonstrating a proactive approach to waste management.
  • Maintain walkway accessibility in inclement weather, prioritizing customer safety and convenience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence, allowing for safe transportation of clients and vehicles.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract, indicating a responsible driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, showcasing excellent communication skills.
  • Good judgement, enabling informed decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
