About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Supervisor to join our team at e11even, a high-volume kitchen within Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the Chef to implement efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management and staff training.
- Lead a team of cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service and product quality.
- Taste and inspect food for quality assurance, adhering to food safety and health standards.
- Ensure accurate closing procedures, reporting equipment issues and food discrepancies to the Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Prioritize tasks for speed and quality, contributing to a team-focused environment and positive relationships with FOH staff.
- Work in compliance with MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- POS and inventory system experience an asset.
- Ability to work well under pressure, take initiative, and maintain a winning attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
