About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Concierge to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Concierge, you'll be the face of our hotel, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of unforgettable.
Responsibilities- Greet and register hotel guests, providing personalized information and assistance to ensure a seamless stay.
- Utilize our computerized systems to manage guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with guests pre-arrival and during their stay to understand their preferences and offer tailored recommendations.
- Conduct pre-arrival processes, arranging services such as wine tastings, dining reservations, and transportation, and researching local vendors to provide exceptional experiences.
- Maintain constant communication with guests through our messenger app, providing prompt responses and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, providing empathetic and professional support to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that concierge desk materials, including information on local activities, restaurants, and attractions, are up-to-date and current.
- Possess extensive knowledge of Whistler and its surroundings, establishing contacts with local vendors to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.
- Previous experience in luxury hotel Front Office, Concierge, or Guest Services.
- Knowledge of Whistler and surrounding areas is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral presentation skills.
- Capacity to multitask in a high-volume and demanding environment.
- Priority consideration for current Four Seasons employees, bilingual candidates, and those with prior luxury hotel/environment experience.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and oral, is mandatory.
