Job Title: Executive Food and Beverage Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Food and Beverage Director to lead our culinary team at the Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative food and beverage strategies that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive food and beverage strategy that aligns with the hotel's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage division, including banquets, outlets, and room service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, General Manager, and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage to plan, create, and execute an innovative culinary vision for the hotel.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for food and beverage operations.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction through effective training and leadership of the food and beverage team.
  • Identify and resolve guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior food and beverage leadership role, preferably in a full-service hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing innovative food and beverage strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with current certification in Food Safe and Smart Serve.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
