Job Title: Human Resources Officer

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our growing organization.
  • Provide information or services to employees, including employee assistance and counselling, to support their well-being and career development.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent and promote our company culture.
  • Collect and screen applicants to ensure a thorough and efficient hiring process.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Review candidate inventories to identify the best fit for our organization.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and assess their qualifications.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates and make informed hiring decisions.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers to welcome new team members.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve employee relations.
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to support employee development and growth.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
