Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

Momentum is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with special needs in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement life skills workshops to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Provide support with daily living activities, including housekeeping and food preparation
  • Assist clients with special needs, including those with physical or intellectual disabilities
  • Supervise activities and ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
