Human Resources Generalist Role

About the Job

Uline is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Edmonton. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the recruiting team and hiring managers to identify and attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the demands of high-volume hiring.
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruitment events to promote Uline's brand and attract potential candidates.
  • Design and deliver engaging new employee orientation and training sessions to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Manage and analyze 30-day and 90-day new hire surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the administration of benefits and leave programs, including short-term disability, workers' compensation, and personal leaves.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provincial legislation and HR best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
