About the Opportunity

The Occupational Health and Wellness Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with at least 3 years of experience in an OH&S role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement occupational health and wellness programs
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop control measures to mitigate hazards
  • Investigate workplace incidents and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences
  • Participate in and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee
  • Develop and regularly review emergency response procedures
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs on health and safety topics

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an OH&S role, including WCB management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
