Senior Development Director

We are seeking a Senior Development Director to lead the Quality Vision (QV) team for our upcoming Skate product. As a key member of our Full Circle studio, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality for the game.
Key Responsibilities- Strategically deliver a AAA Live Service, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met by all teams.
- Manage the evolution, support, and growth of a robust team of QV Leaders.
- Proactively identify, report, mitigate, and solve project risks to ensure smooth project progression and minimize unforeseen challenges.
- Focus on defect prevention, containment, test automation, and effective collaboration, as well as innovative solutions and initiatives.
- Plan, communicate, and report mechanisms in context of high-value actionable outcomes.
- Lead execution of goals across multiple disciplines, focusing on value for Skate, EA, and our players.
- Be a champion and advocate for a leadership mindset across the QV Organization.
- Owned and delivered game projects of large-scale complexity.
- 10+ years of project management experience in a game development setting.
- Experience leading project execution and communicating with senior leadership.
- Experience navigating and coordinating across various teams and organizations, both locally and remotely.
- Experience operating autonomously and escalating when needed.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills to clearly report product and project status.
- Experience using metrics to identify and measure improvements.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
- Mobile and Live Service experience desirable.
Base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
o $160,200 - $229,100 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits, including vacation, sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
