Job Summary:The University of Ottawa invites applications for a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Health and Well-being. The successful candidate will be appointed as a tenure-track professor at the Associate or Full Professor level and will be expected to establish a research program that focuses on meaningful collaboration with Indigenous communities to promote health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish a research program that focuses on Indigenous health and well-being, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with Indigenous communities.
- Develop and maintain a strong research agenda that aligns with the University of Ottawa's research priorities.
- Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the area of Indigenous health and well-being.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Indigenous health and well-being.
- Contribute to the development of the University of Ottawa's research strategy and priorities.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Established research record in the area of Indigenous health and well-being.
- Experience in supervising graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
