We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Labrador Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation standards.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our guests.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for special occasions and events.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Proven track record of menu development and implementation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols.
