We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at MCA Dental. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized dental hygiene treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough medical health history screenings and updates to ensure accurate patient information.
- Perform baseline and routine assessments, including full mouth charting, probing, and oral cancer screening.
- Take and develop radiographs and impressions as prescribed by the dentist, and capture intraoral photos.
- Identify and address conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.
- Plan and deliver dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, prophy, and fluoride applications as required.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene instruction, plaque control guidance, and postoperative instructions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and charting.
- Identify scheduling gaps and assist with scheduling, including booking preventive recall appointments and following up on outstanding treatment plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues during downtime to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in continuing education events to stay current with industry developments.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- A friendly and collaborative personality.
