Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at MCA Dental. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement dental hygiene treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough medical health history screenings and updates.
- Perform baseline and routine assessments, including full mouth charting, probing, and oral cancer screening.
- Take radiographs and impressions as prescribed by the dentist, and intraoral photos.
- Identify conditions and oral diseases such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
- Plan and deliver dental hygiene treatment, including scaling, prophy, and fluoride as required.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene instruction, plaque control instructions, and postoperative instructions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Identify gaps in the clinical schedule and assist with scheduling, including booking preventive recall appointments and following up on outstanding treatment plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues during downtime.
- Attend continuing education events as required.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- A friendly personality with a collaborative approach.
