Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at MCA Dental Group. As a key member of our dental hygiene team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized dental hygiene treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough medical health history screenings and updates to ensure accurate patient information.
- Perform routine assessments, including full mouth charting, probing, and oral cancer screening, to identify potential oral health issues.
- Take radiographs and impressions as prescribed by the dentist, and provide intraoral photos to aid in diagnosis.
- Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis, and develop treatment plans to address these issues.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions to promote optimal oral health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and charting to ensure seamless communication with the dental team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize scheduling and ensure efficient use of clinical time.
- Diploma or degree in dental hygiene.
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist.
- Proven experience in infection control and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Ability to assess oral health, hard tissue, and periodontal conditions, and provide effective treatment plans.
- Experience with different types of intraoral radiographs and their interpretation.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
