About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at The Excel Group, Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, preparing detailed plans and schedules for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Perform moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations, guaranteeing a safe and successful outcome.
  • Prepare floors for installation, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and urban area installation experience.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed.
  • Excellent judgment, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and organized work habits.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, requiring 30 to 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
