Role Summary:
This role is responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on railway equipment. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Key responsibilities include repairing and maintaining railcars, locomotives, and other related equipment. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience with heavy-duty equipment repair, including electrical and mechanical systems. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are also required. The ideal candidate will be able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Additionally, you will need to have strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
