About the Role:

This is a key position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all events hosted at the convention center run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing financial reports to help us track expenses and revenues related to event hosting.
  • Promote our conference and meeting services or special events through various marketing channels.
  • Develop effective marketing and communication plans to attract new clients and increase repeat business.
  • Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services, and arrange for and manage contracts for these services.
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage of event materials and supplies.
  • Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, and attend to related details to ensure seamless execution.
  • Coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.
  • Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services for event attendees.
  • Research and design special events programs to meet client expectations.
  • Plan for social events and guest programs to enhance the overall experience.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as event planning, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
