We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Clinic Coordinator and Data Specialist to coordinate the running of income tax clinics virtually and in-person for low-income clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Organizing virtual income tax processes and attending scheduled in-person tax clinics;
  • Setting up processes to ensure volunteer confidentiality and minimize privacy issues;
  • Developing a data tracking system for reporting purposes;
  • Assigning clients to volunteers who prepare taxes and assisting with client concerns;
  • Working with phone volunteers to register clients and providing support as needed;
  • Coordinating materials, supplies, and support items for each clinic;
  • Utilizing MS Teams, Forms, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and MS Excel to facilitate smooth operations.

This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • Proficiency in computer systems and troubleshooting skills;
  • Excellent English language skills; other languages are considered an asset;
  • A comfort level working in a hybrid environment with 14 hours on-site per week;
  • Availability to work Fridays and two Saturdays.
