Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Big Orange is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment:

Our coffee shop is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.
