Job Summary

Currizza Restaurants Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the expectations of the role.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent errors or deficiencies.

Manage Budget and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve the issue promptly.

Maintain Records

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and use this information to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with hot temperatures and odours.

Work Setting

On-site customer service in a restaurant setting.

Physical Demands

Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
