Job Title: Apprentice Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team at Northern Services (High Level)(1978) Ltd. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the plumbing trade while working on a variety of projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. This includes reading blueprints, determining piping system requirements, and measuring, cutting, and bending pipes to required shape and size.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
  • Read blueprints and determine piping system requirements
  • Measure, cut, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Level two apprenticeship training
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The work will be physically demanding and may require working at heights.
