Apprentice Plumber Position

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Plumber to join our team at Northern Services (High Level)(1978) Ltd. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
- Apprenticeship training in plumbing, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
- Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy loads.
