Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at Northern Services (High Level)(1978) Ltd. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair and maintain plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Working at heights training

Work Environment
