Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Eat-In Foods Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of our production process.
- Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize inventory levels.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery, and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Organize warehouse and work areas to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders to ensure accurate production planning.
- Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
- Estimate the type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction, and other projects.
- Monitor production progress and prepare reports on any issues that may arise.
- Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of performance.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Follow up on issues with work orders to ensure timely resolution.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operation of production.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient production and delivery of products.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Repetitive tasks and ability to work in a team environment.
- MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, and MS Office skills.
- Experience in quality assurance or control.
- Area of specialization in production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Repetitive tasks and ability to work in a team environment.
