Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Eat-In Foods Inc.
Job SummaryThe Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials, and preparing and submitting reports. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of production processes
- Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste
- Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress, inventory levels, and other key metrics
- Ensure that all production equipment and machinery are in good working order and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records and logs of production activities, including inventory levels, production schedules, and quality control metrics
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that production processes are not disrupted by stockouts or overstocking
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and providing administrative support to production staff
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to production staff to improve productivity and product quality
- 1-2 years of experience in a production or logistics role
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g. business, logistics, supply chain management)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
The Production Coordinator will work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent deadlines and tight timelines. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
