About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Digital Data Strategy to join our Business Insights team at McDonald's Canada. As a key strategic partner, you will play a critical role in accelerating our digital journey and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital analytics strategy to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Lead the integration of digital customer data across the enterprise, enabling data-driven decision making and customer-centric strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data visualization tools and reporting dashboards to support business objectives.
  • Provide critical insights and strategic recommendations to senior leaders, including the Director of Digital Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics models, including customer lifetime value (CLV) and customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering their career growth and engagement.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, with 4+ years of leading a team of analysts (preferably in digital space).
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical discipline (advanced degree/post-graduate degree in data/analytics field is an asset).
  • Proficiency in leading broader business performance analysis, insights generation, and strategic planning.
  • Experience with loyalty programs and omnichannel personalization is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of BI platforms and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, MicroStrategy, etc.).
  • Proficiency with analyzing data using advanced Excel, SQL, and ideally R and/or Python; financial modeling experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 360 data is an asset.
