Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Almarwa Halal Meat Brampton.

Job Summary

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized food counter, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized food counter, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and storing supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables, and packaging take-out food.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
