Job Description

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for day-to-day operations, providing strong leadership while establishing policies and practices that meet the organization's overall requirements.

  • Plan and direct operational priorities, goals, policies, practices, and initiatives in accordance with the CEO's strategic direction;
  • Oversee and support operational management in all aspects of the business from engineering to quality to support to services and administration;
  • Recommend and participate in the development of corporate-wide policies that address corporate growth and strengthen organizational processes;
  • Develop and execute a strategy that drives excellence across operational organizations, leveraging best-of-class processes, technology, and team members to meet and exceed customer expectations as measured by output and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure scalable processes, policies, and procedures are in place to help build future growth;

Participate as an open, engaged, and committed member of the Executive Team in the formulation and execution of the corporate vision, strategy, and business objectives;

Ensure operational milestones are met on time, with high quality, and that they meet the cost objectives established;

Create and sustain a viable organizational structure to make optimum use of human resources, technology, and systems;

Build and facilitate the development of strong relationships and synergies with all areas of the company and with technical partners and customers to achieve corporate goals, objectives, and revenue targets;

Foster a culture of team spirit and innovation into the longer and short-term operations of the organization;

Instill a culture of innovation and inspire a talented group of customer-centric employees to manage their careers and grow as professionals;

Salary

$150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience;

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven operational management experience contributing to the success of a software or social media vendor;
  • Demonstrable evidence of a track record distinguished by exceeding expectations;
  • Proven entrepreneurial/smaller company experience, with appropriate financial and business acumen acquired from scaling an organization with similar characteristics to our client to the next level of growth;
  • Strong team building skills with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate;
