Role Description


We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) on behalf of one of our valued clients. This is a full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the digital asset and financial services industry. The COO will oversee daily operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure efficient and effective execution of the company’s strategic objectives.


The ideal candidate will bring substantial leadership experience, a deep understanding of fund management, and the ability to creatively address business challenges. A proven track record in the financial services or digital asset space is essential, along with exceptional communication skills and a client-focused mindset. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on involvement across all facets of investment management.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Strategy:

  • Partner with the CEO to develop organizational vision, operational strategies, and hiring plans.
  • Transform strategic goals into actionable plans for company growth, implementing goal-setting and performance management processes.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure productivity and cultivate a collaborative culture that supports professional growth.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development efforts to build a strong and capable team.
  • Identify and implement improvements in internal operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Client & Business Development:

  • Foster relationships with investment dealers, financial advisors, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews to discuss performance, strategies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to develop and execute customized investment strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events to build brand visibility and establish new client relationships.


Operational Management:

  • Monitor company operations and financial performance to align with growth and profitability goals.
  • Oversee key areas, including sales and marketing, to meet both short- and long-term capital needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage capital investments and expenses to support company growth objectives.


Technology & Data Management:

  • Use data analysis and performance metrics to evaluate and enhance operational performance.
  • Implement tracking systems to monitor business progress and adjust strategies as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within financial services or digital assets.
  • Strong knowledge of investment fund products and basic familiarity with cryptocurrency markets.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on achieving results through integrity and collaboration.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business planning, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-based performance evaluation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and foresight to anticipate challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
