Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

Ontario Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to optimize profitability
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on tasks and procedures
  • Train staff on new procedures and policies
  • Recruit and hire new staff members
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
