Job Description:

Job Title: Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary:

The MEARIE Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direction, supervision, and coordination of work related to the design, installation, construction, operations, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of all types of Distribution and Station (TS) assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise Engineering Technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Execute policies, procedures, and practices that support a safe, healthy, and efficient work environment.
  • Design and develop electrical equipment systems, including distribution and station projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Analyze processes and articulate recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience in an electrical engineering discipline involving design, construction, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of design standards and regulations pertaining to the electrical equipment area of expertise.
  • Ability to interpret and implement technical specifications/standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.).
  • Post or continuing educational courses in Management Studies and/or Business an asset.
