Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at The MEARIE Group. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direction, supervision, and coordination of work related to the design, installation, construction, operations, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of all types of Distribution and Station (TS) assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise Engineering Technicians in the design, installation, construction, operations, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of Distribution and Station (TS) assets.
  • Execute policies, procedures, and practices that support a safe, healthy, and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement technical specifications and standards for electrical equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
  • Analyze processes and articulate recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience in an electrical engineering discipline involving design, construction, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of design standards and regulations pertaining to the electrical equipment area of expertise.
  • Ability to interpret and implement technical specifications/standards.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely, orally, electronically, and in writing.
  • Ability to analyze processes and articulate recommendations for improvements.

Education and Certifications:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.).
  • Post or continuing educational courses in Management Studies and/or Business an asset.
