Job Title: Licensed Optician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting expectations and providing a personalized experience.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing support and guidance.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State Licensure.
  • Optical dispensing experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise and awareness of current fashion trends.
  • Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
  • Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and retail experience.
