Job Title: Project Quality Director

Aecon is seeking a highly experienced Project Quality Director to join our team on the Darlington New Nuclear Project.

About the Role:

The Project Quality Director will be responsible for setting the overall direction for Quality Assurance and Quality Control across all projects within the Joint Venture. This includes establishing standards and expectations for Quality Assurance and Quality Control, managing staffing requirements and resource sharing for the QA and QC department, and providing standardized reporting for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs and processes
  • Manage staffing requirements and resource sharing for the QA and QC department
  • Provide standardized reporting for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functional areas
  • Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans and procedures
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years project experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership/management role
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance Programs and processes
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field
  • Certification(s) in: Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), and/or ISO-9000 Auditor
