About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Quality Director to join our team at Aecon Concessions. As a key member of our Nuclear Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance programs and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Manage and develop a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure the effective execution of quality assurance activities.
  • Provide training and indoctrination to project staff and management on quality assurance programs and processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate quality risks and ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Expertise in quality assurance programs and processes, including ISO 9001.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Certification in quality engineering, quality auditing, or ISO-9000 auditing is an asset.
