Project Director Nuclear Quality Assurance

Aecon is seeking a highly experienced Project Quality Director to join our team on the Darlington New Nuclear Project.
About the Role:The Project Quality Director will be responsible for setting the overall direction for Quality Assurance and Quality Control across all projects within the Joint Venture. This includes establishing standards and expectations for Quality Assurance and Quality Control, managing staffing requirements and resource sharing for the QA and QC department, and providing standardized reporting for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functional areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs and processes
- Manage and develop QA and QC professionals with a focus on supporting critical succession management
- Provide indoctrination and training of project staff and management as defined in the Quality Assurance Program and Project Quality Management Plans
- Manage the performance and results of Quality personnel on all JV projects
- Ensure teams are clear and focused on performance objectives
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years project experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership/management role
- Expertise in Quality Assurance Programs and processes
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field
- Certification(s) in: Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), and/or ISO-9000 Auditor
- Working knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 is an asset
