Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Little Kitchen Academy - St. Albert. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
- Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
- Stock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with food, supplies, and cleaning products.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including food, cleaning products, and equipment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will work in a team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Language and Work ConditionsThis is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
