We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Atlantic Kitchen St Albert. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict cleaning protocols.
- Scour pots and pans to remove stubborn food residue, ensuring they are spotless and ready for use.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following established procedures.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, adhering to our waste management policies.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for use in our kitchen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
