Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations of our restaurants. This includes ensuring compliance with government regulations, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional appearance and set a positive example for employees;
  • Ensure compliance with established budget assessments and manage financial resources effectively;
  • Monitor and control bank deposits and petty cash transactions;
  • Prepare or approve orders and maintain effective inventory management;
  • Deal with guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Be present at peak hours to oversee operations and ensure smooth service delivery;
  • Maintain an effective work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and collaboration among employees;
  • Apply all promotional activities to drive sales and revenue growth;
  • Evaluate and develop personnel, including training new employees and updating manuals;
  • Ensure compliance with Pizza Delight's employee manuals, organizational regulations, and health and safety standards;
  • Audit equipment maintenance and perform preventative maintenance as needed;
  • Determine personnel needs and schedules, as well as recruit and hire new staff members;
  • Evaluate personnel performance and make informed decisions regarding employment status;
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the franchisee.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a similar position. A bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex situations and think critically. Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Working Conditions

This role requires normal overtime, working nights, weekends, and statutory holidays as needed. Employees may be required to work in various positions at peak hours and be called in occasionally.
