We are a dynamic food service company seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of success in managing food service teams.

Job Summary:

We are offering a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year for this position. The salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet high quality control standards.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit regular reports to management.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience: In a food service management or supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate: Or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills: Proven ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management.
  • Physical capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
