Executive Chef Assistant

Romer's Burger Bar is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will analyze operating costs and other data to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. Additionally, you will demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff. You will also prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, and plan menus to ensure food meets quality standards. If you have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and are fluent in English, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Analyze operating costs and other data
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions

Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
