Highly Skilled Security Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Administrator to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our computer systems.
Responsibilities- Promote and monitor the security of ministry computer systems.
- Maintain the security database and perform cleanup per audit requirements.
- Provide security access administration for ministry and external clients, ensuring requests have appropriate authorization.
- Identify and resolve problems for a province-wide client base.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures to enable administering, enforcing and controlling of major computer systems and databases.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) to ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information is maintained.
- Ability to assess viability of requests and determine eligibility for access to security systems.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team. You will be required to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical support and resolving complex issues.
