- Communicate major incidents to management, facilitating swift decision-making and effective crisis management.
- Manage the Camera Surveillance System, leveraging technology to enhance security and improve incident response.
- Answer all incoming security telephone lines, including the complex emergency line, providing prompt and professional assistance to those in need.
- Ensure that security operations align with established policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of excellence.
- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism, embodying the values of our organization and fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Prior experience in security is considered an asset, but not mandatory; we welcome candidates with transferable skills and a strong work ethic.
- A background in healthcare is desirable, as it can provide valuable insights and context for this role.
- Strong command and fluency in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective communication and documentation.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and pressure while making sound decisions under duress.
- High attention to detail and observational awareness are crucial for success in this role, as you will be responsible for monitoring multiple systems and responding to diverse situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, promoting a positive and productive team dynamic.
- First Aid and CPR Level C + AED certification is required, as well as the ability to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test with clean-shaven facial hair.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double vaccination) and immunization records for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, and TB Skin Tests are necessary for employment.
- A Vulnerable Sector Check is also required during onboarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations.
- Flexibility and commitment to full-time availability for at least 6 months are vital for this role, as you will be part of a dynamic team working together to deliver exceptional results.
- English proficiency (oral & written) is a fundamental requirement, while bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset, reflecting our organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Previous customer service experience is highly valued, as it demonstrates your ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and handle various situations effectively.
