Job Overview:

PALADIN SECURITY is a reputable organization dedicated to providing exceptional security services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Guard to join our team.

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $22.61 per hour, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer various benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Present a professional and visible security presence at all times.
  • Greet, assist, and direct visitors to the premises while ensuring their safety and security.
  • Conduct proactive and reactive interior and exterior patrols to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Document and report any security events or incidents that occur during your shift.
  • Investigate routine incidents and provide support to patients and staff as needed.
  • Enforce hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and visitor conduct.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises and ensure the safekeeping of assets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall security and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • A valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate from a WSIB-approved provider.
  • Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double vaccination).
  • Completed immunization records, including Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and TB Skin Tests.
  • Able to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Minimum 6 months of healthcare security experience preferred.
  • English proficiency (oral and written) required; Bilingualism considered an asset.
