This role is responsible for providing advice and support to schools in the implementation, development, and evaluation of the digital action plan, as well as the use of technological hardware, applications, and approaches in the delivery of training and production of instructional materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers and education consultants to integrate new technologies into their daily practice and program development through training sessions and workshops.
- Support the link between the IT department and Education Services regarding IT matters.
- Ensure high-quality and culturally relevant education in Nunavik communities through the effective use of education technology.
- Review the current status and needs of educators, school administrators, and staff members concerning the use of education technology hardware and software.
- Provide leadership to the team and schools for the Digital Action Plan goals.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education.
- Experience as a teacher, preferably in a Nunavik school.
- Fluency in at least two of the working languages of the Board (Inuktitut, French, English).
- Strong computer literacy, especially in commonly used educational software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative and helpful nature.
- Competitive salary range: $49,456 to $87,626 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
