Job Title: Security Officer, MAOC

Join the Bank of Canada as a Security Officer, MAOC, and play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our operations.

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing risks to the Bank's information, personnel, visitors, and physical assets. You will respond to emergencies, assist colleagues, and operate state-of-the-art security equipment to ensure the safety of Bank sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage risks to the Bank's information, personnel, visitors, and physical assets
  • Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms, health and safety incidents, and intrusion alarms
  • Operate state-of-the-art security equipment, including surveillance systems and alarm monitoring systems
  • Escort visitors, tradespeople, and Bank personnel carrying securities in high-security areas
  • Provide on-site security for special events
Requirements
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a security field or police foundations
  • Minimum of three years of security experience in a highly secured environment
  • Valid firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) for restricted and non-restricted firearms
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
