**About Thurber Engineering**

Thurber Engineering, a leading provider of geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials engineering services in Canada, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team in Calgary, Alberta.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for Managing Financial Operations, including:

  • Completing month and year-end general ledger and journal entries;
  • Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts;
  • Delivering monthly returns, survey, and other information requests;

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field. Experience working with consulting firms is an asset.

About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to improve accounting processes and procedures, and implement new software. You will work collaboratively with senior professionals, corporate leaders, and subject matter experts across the company for mentorship and feedback.
